World began to see first electric computers from 1940s during world war 2. But these computers were so bulky and large that they almost cover a full big room, seems strange, isn't? It was 1970s when personal computers started showing up. Henry Edward Roberts is considered the father of Personal Computer, he is the one who coined the term "personal computer". He released the Altair 8800 in 1974. Bill Gates took inspiration from this machine after seeing an ad of this in Popular Electronics magzine in 1975 and started creating BASIC programming language software for it.
