RRB Group D Syllabus 2022: Railway recruitment board (RRB) conducts group d exam at regular intervals every year and the last time it released the exam notification for the 103769 vacancies. These vacancies includes posts for Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Mechanical, Electrical, and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, Level-I Posts. Candidates who have already applied and those who are planning to appear in future exams must be prepared using the RRB railway group d syllabus in advance. This will help them to be on track and plan their exam prepration strategically.
RRB Group D Examination is conducted in two tiers: Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

In RRB Group D examination there are total four main sections from where the questions being asked. These subject areas are General Awareness, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning & Mathematics. The first phase of the examination, which is CBT (Computer Based Test), will ask question from all these subject area and below is the details of each subject area.

Important Point: There is also negative marking in this exam and it will deduct 1/3 marks on each wrong answer.

After successful completion of CBT and based on the merit list, candidates will be called for second phase exam which is Physical Efficiency Test(PET). It is a qualifying nature exam and it is mandatory to qualify the RRB Group D PET for being considered for the next stage of the selection process. PET exam has following criteria for male and female candidates:

Based on the candidate's performance in CBT and PET test, they will be called for the last stage, i.e. Document verification. It is very simple process and Candidates will have to produce all the original documents in the RRB Group D document verification.
